Pricing
Metered on requests proxied - the thing that costs us - never on seats. Annual is two months free. Nobody is asked for a card before they have seen it work.

Deliberate choices, defended

Overage never fails a request
On a paid plan, exceeding the ceiling raises an alert and bills the overage; it does not turn into a 429. A gateway that stops passing traffic because of an invoice is a gateway nobody puts in production. Hard stops exist only on the free tier, where they are the point.
-
Requests, not seats
We meter what costs us. Seat pricing punishes exactly the team-wide adoption we want - invite everyone, it changes nothing on the bill.
-
Enforce starts at Team
Not because it is expensive to run. A customer who trusts us to reject their traffic has crossed a line, and that trust is what £99 buys.
-
Retention is the honest upsell
Drift is a time series. Seven days shows a problem; ninety days shows when it started and what shipped that day.
-
The free tier is an evaluation, not free hosting
One proxy, 10k requests, no custom domain. Generous enough to prove it on something safe; hard-capped so it cannot be turned into an open relay.
-
Downgrade caps, it does not delete
A failed card gets a retry schedule and email before anything changes. After 14 days the account drops to Free - which caps traffic rather than deleting anything, and your data is retained for 30 days beyond that.
